MC Sports - Miracle May

Every May, MC Sports promotes Miracle May; a month dedicated to raising dollars for Children's Miracle Network. To make a difference in the lives of local families coping with a childhood diagnosis of cancer, MC Sports is raising money for Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital’s Pediatric Cancer Care and Pediatric Oncology Resource Team. Color Me Rad 5k Run

Ticket prices: $35 until April 5th, $40 until May 3rd, $45 until May 22nd
Participants dressed in while will run 3.1 miles while being bombarded with color that will tie-dye their clothes and brighten their outlook. At the finish line, runners will declare themselves rad and toss their own bag of color into the air. Participants of all ages are welcomed. It's the toughest race you'll ever love! Join us for the 14th running of this race that has come to be seen as a badge of honor for area runners. You'll start on the the road, move on to a challenging and beautiful trail before heading out to Lake Michigan and the big kahuna, a huge double bowl sand dune that seems to never end. It's all down hill from there! Come be a part of this unique racing adventure all while raising money for the Helen DeVos Children's Hospital Foundation. Tri-Cities Kiwanis Salmon Fishing Tournament for Helen DeVos Children's Hospital

Last year, Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital patient Rico Simmons landed a 17.5 lb. king salmon in the Tri-Counties Kiwanis Salmon Tournament on Lake Michigan. Join Rico this year to see who reels in the winning catch. Proceeds from the tournament support Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital and patients like 13-year-old Rico who is fighting osteo sarcoma. Sign up for the tournament with your own group of charter fishing enthusiasts or provide a donation that will make it possible for a group of our young patients to experience charter fishing in the tournament.
